Volunteers are required for a minimum of two shifts. On average, shifts range from 4-6 hours in length. Some shifts may be longer due to the nature of the position.
- Event Operations and Logistics:
- Tournament Operations (Setup / Tear Down): Responsible for organizing and managing tournament logistics, including setting up and dismantling equipment.
- Volunteer Services: Coordinates and supports volunteers during the event.
- Player Services: Assists players with their needs during the tournament.
- Player Transportation: Manages transportation arrangements for players.
- Practice Facilities: Oversees practice areas for players.
- Admissions/Parking: Handles entry and parking logistics for attendees.
- Safety and Environment:
- Water Crew / Health & Safety: Ensures hydration and safety measures for participants.
- Waste Collection (Ecology): Manages waste disposal and promotes eco-friendly practices.
- Security: Maintains safety and security during the event.
- On-Course Operations:
- Starters, Marshals, Spotters: Guides players and maintains pace of play on the course.
- Sand & Seed: Maintains sand bunkers and divot repair.
- Scoring Central: Manages scoring and updates leaderboards.
- Driving Distance: Measures driving distances for players.
- Communication and Support:
- Leaderboard Operators: Updates and maintains live leaderboards.
- Walking Scorers: Records player scores while walking alongside them.
- Standard Bearers: Carries signs displaying player scores.
